How to Start a STIHL blower or any other leaf blower

Description: The New Stihl 'simplified starting procedure' eliminates the chance of flooding your machine during cold starting by mispositioning the choke.

• If you will be cold starting your machine, just turn the choke lever dial to the 'cold start' position.

• If you will be warm starting your machine, the dial should be turned to the appropriate setting in the middle.

• Once you've set the choke to the correct position, simply start the machine, release the throttle and the choke will return to the correct position.
